The Juice Newton Fan Club is proud to present the"O" Award! The "O" award is for any person or group that has helped within their community in some capacity. Generosity, dedication and commitment is all that is needed to qualify.
The "O" Award is in memory of Otha Young whose kindness and consideration was so greatly appreciated by so many people.

The 2011 "O" Award has been given to Alex John of San Diego. Alex is a brave young lady who has battled dystonia, a neurological movment disorder of which there isn't a cure.
Alex's battle has taken her from being a recluse to being a recurring guest on the hit television show "The Doctors." ( Check your local listings )
Alex recently had the very costly and delicate surgery called "Deep Brain Stimulation." The Dr. Phil Foundation help fund this surgery for Alex and she is a new woman!!
Since her appearance on television, Alex has been stopped on the street and asked about her condition. Alex continues to spread awareness about dystonia and has recieved tremendous help from former talk show host Montel Williams.
Alex we salute you and all of your efforts!! Thank you for being a warrior and fighting the battle and spreading the word. I am honored to call her a friend!!
